Research progress on health effect of occupational exposure to platinum antineoplastic drugs and protection status among medical staff in China

At present, platinum-based antineoplastic drugs are the most widely used antineoplastic drugs, and medical staff are exposed to these drugs more frequently. This article summarized the updated researches on health effects caused by platinum and current protection status among medical staff in China. The results indicated that such hazards can't be ignored. It is necessary to improve the occupational safety awareness of medical staff and provide them with reasonable and scientific protective measures.
