Effect of blood sample lipid concentration on test results in occupational health examination

Abstract: Objective To discuss the influence of different concentrations of lipid in blood samples on biochemical test items and blood test items. Methods The blood samples of 35 cases (male 20, female 15) were collected. After CBC analysis, the blood samples were centrifuged to separate blood cells from plasma. The bleeding pulp was replaced with the same volume of different concentrations of fat emulsion to prepare different blood lipid blood samples; CBC analysis was carried out on fat blood samples again by the same method. The testing results were compared to understand the effect of the blood lipid on different parameters. Results The indicators, such as Hb, MCH and MCHC were found to be increased after the addition of fat. While TG was not less than 6.15 mmol/L, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). While TG was not less than 11.15 mmol/L, the indicators, ALT, AST and TBIL, were found to be increased, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). While TG was not less than 15.15 mmol/L, WBC was found to be increased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).While TG was not less than 8.65 mmol/L, the indicators, such as TP, Alb, GIU, BUN, UA and Cr were found to be increased, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). When TG reached 22.15 mmol/L, the most items could not be detected. Conclusion The blood sample lipid concentration could affect the results of regular blood biochemical test(when TG was not less than 8.65 mmol/L) and blood routine examination(when TG was not less than 6.15 mmol/L). When TG was not less than 6.15 mmol/L, the results should be reviewed and further corrected.
