The abnormality of chest X-ray examination and lung function among workers who had been smoking for 10 years or more was higher than that among workers who had been smoking for less than 10 years (P < 0.05 or 0.01). There was a trend that abnormality increased with both increased age and employment time(P < 0.05). The workers, who had higher education level and correctly used the personal protective equipment, had the better lung health condition(P < 0.05).
