Occupational health work in medical institutions:thinking from 2019 novel coronavirus

  • The fact that medical professionals was affected by 2019 novel coronavirus during of COVID-19 epidemic made us thinking deeply again on occupational protection in medical institutions. This article present several topics for further discussion, such as initiating protection in an emergency(abnormal) state, identifying an"abnormal" state, taking necessary emergency preparations for possible "abnormal", optimizing personal protective equipment, normalizing occupational health work, and integrating multidisciplinary. It is expected that the integration will be emphasized and the occupational health work of medical institutions will be promoted. It is suggested that the government and occupational health professional institutions should play an important role in directing or helping medical institutions to do relevant work well.
