  • Female nurses engaged in nursing the patients with COVID-19 during COVID-19 epidemic period were faced with heavy tasks and high risk of infection, which may cause their high psychological stress and high mental health risks. It is an urgent task to carry out psychological intervention and protect their physical and mental health. In this paper, the work status, psychological stress disorder and health risk of female nurses directly nursing the infectious patients were analyzed, and suggestions on intervention countermeasures, such as starting psychological crisis intervention as soon as possible, strengthening the emergency drill and training of public health emergencies, establishing professional belief, strengthening the labor protection of female nurses, etc., were put forward for the reference of professional departments.
